How we’ve missed Anna Yarnesty Friberg in our sock club ❤️ Finally, Anna is back with a lovely summer pattern – Strawberry socks!
This is how Anna describes the inspiration for July’s socks: It is a quiet summer evening and the sun is setting golden over the garden. You sit under the apple tree with a bowl of freshly picked strawberries next to you and their sweet scent fills the air. While you enjoy the taste of the berries, the strawberry red yarn runs between your fingers and stitch by stitch a sock grows under your hands. Each stitch becomes a tribute to the peaceful rhythm of summer.
Knit Strawberry Socks Together – Knit-A-Long
In the Nordic Knitting Society’s Facebook group, we will knit the socks together. You are most welcome to join and discuss in the Pattern of the Month on Facebook where there is help to be had and good company!
It would be wonderful if you would share pictures of your socks on social media, both while you are knitting them and when they are finished! Tag them with #yarnesty and #Snowmansocks and we can find each other’s photos and get inspired!
If you want us to show off your photo of the socks, also tag @nordickknittingsociety – we’ll share as many creations as we can!
