Daisy socks

Gudrun @knitcolourful debuts in the #sockclub with these lovely flower socks called #daisysocks
I’m so keen to knit a pair of white ones with cerise flowers, so pretty but oh so impractical. May be a more practical color after all, that was my first thoughts when I saw these socks! The ankle socks are knitted from the top down, with a cute flower garland along the top edge of the sock.
The heel is shaped using shortened rows. The socks can of course be knitted to any desired length. The socks are a perfect leftover yarn project, look in your stash for suitable yarn! Can’t find the right yarn for the flower design? I promise there’s a knitting buddy out there who can supply you with yarn!
