The knitting strength affects the result, both in terms of size and yarn consumption.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knitting needles<\/strong><br \/>\nCircular knitting needles size 3.25-3.5 mm (or equivalent to get the right knitting strength) on cable. Good cable lengths to have on hand are 40\/60\/80\/100 mm.<br \/>\nStart with the shortest cable and increase as needed.<br \/>\nSleeves are best knitted with a magic loop, otherwise use your super-duper shortest circular needle or double pointed needles of the same size.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other<br \/>\n<\/strong>4 markers, extra cables for resting stitches, a darning needle for attaching yarn ends and a tape measure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Running out of ideas? Here is the basic pattern that allows you to compose your sweater according to your wishes. You choose between three different neck shapes and combine it with a tapered three-quarter sleeve that can easily be converted into a short T-shirt sleeve or a straight\/tapered full-length sleeve.<\/p>\n<p>The sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases for the body and sleeves.<br \/>\nThe lower part of the jersey has a straight shape but can be adjusted by reducing or increasing the sides for a more fitted shape.
