Seasonal club was introduced in October 2023
We are so proud and happy about our new collaboration with Josefine @Pillerstickarn who will be designing for us in both the Seasonal Club and the Pattern of the Month.

About the design
As most people already know, October is the month when we draw attention to breast cancer and try to raise money for research in every way we can – mainly through the Swedish Cancer Society.
This is the first time Josefine has designed a boobie mitten, and since this topic is very close to my heart (charity and research that is – no matter how lovely your boobs are!), I, Josefine, will donate 10 SEK for each seasonal club subscription at Nordic Knitting Society during October 2023 and for each pattern sold during November and December 2023 for the benefit of breast cancer research via Cancerfonden (up to a maximum of 4000 SEK in total).
I think we all have someone close to us (if not ourselves) who has unfortunately already been affected by this disease, but together we can make a difference! /Josephine, @Pillerstickarn
Of course, the Nordic Knitting Society will also donate SEK 10 for each seasonal club subscription to the Nordic Knitting Society during October 2023.

Description

Yarn
Rauma Finull
Color A: cerise (4886)
Color B: light pink (4094)
Color C: black (4387)

You can of course knit your mittens in other yarns. Remember to choose a yarn with the same stretch, 175 m/50 g (350 m/100 g).

Yarn requirements
Color A: 15g (about 55 m)
Color B: 27g (approx. 95 m)
Color C: 27g (about 95 m)

Knitting needles
2.5 mm and 3.0 mm (or the size you need to achieve the right sticking strength)

Gauge
30 sts x 30 rows = 10×10 cm in multicolor knitting after blocking. (for a larger mitten, try going up 0.25-0.5 mm in knitting size).

Finished dimensions
Width: 10 cm
Length: 24,5 cm incl. cushion – for larger size, go up 0.25 – 0.5 in knitting size.

TIPS!
If you knit hard and tend to tighten too much, your floats will be too tight. This means that the mitten will be smaller, and also that the pattern will not appear in the clear way you want.

Try turning the mitten inside out, continue to work on the right side, but keep the floats on the outside, which makes it easier to make sure they are not too tight.

Don’t forget that all two-color knitted garments need to be blocked in order for the stitches to find their proper place and for the pattern to emerge!
