Bumblebee Airy Sweater

85 kr

This pattern is a variation in the Bumblebee series, designed by Annelie. The pattern was #Pattern of the Month in April 2024.

This is how Annelie describes her design:
“A really airy and light sweater that is knitted on large needles but still warms well.
The yarn used in the sweater in the pictures is a single yarn from Gotland Spinnery, Töis, a completely untreated yarn of wool from Gotland sheep.
It is thin but fills out the stitches in a fantastic way. If you choose to knit with another yarn, you get a different expression, for example, a linen yarn can give a lovely sweater to use over a summer dress.

The Bumblebee Airy Sweater is knitted from the top down with a round yoke. Shortened rows at the neck give a nice fit and the beautiful lace border with hop cones lies like a jewel around the shoulders. The sleeve is knitted completely straight down to the elastic edge, where intakes form a small puff.” We wish you a joyful knitting! / Annelie and Nordic Knitting Society!
